We just added our
Google Sitemap Generator in XML for PHP Ecommerce Templates.
Now the
Google Sitemap Generator is in
XML!
Google has reported that it will not be giving as much weight to other file versions of the sitemaps:
See Googles own statement here In light of this, we have created a PHP/XML version of our Google Sitemap Generator.
This XML generator will automatically and dynamically update it's sitemap each time Google
requests it, so it is hands free once you submit it to Google!
Features: You can set the frequency and priority for each section:
products, categories, and top categories (categories with sub-categories),
and the lastmod date will automatically update each time it is called by Google as well.
In addition, you can also add links to your other non-product pages,
and still set the frequency and priority on a case-by-case basis.
The
XML produced is produced with Googles template in mind, and is
completely XML valid and compliant! Google appears to index XML pages quicker than other types of files.
