Ungroup taskbar buttons

Friday, July 22nd, 2005

Windows XP by default makes all instances of the same program running into one taskbar button. So if you have multiple instances of Internet Explorer open, it can be difficult to figure out which is which. To change this setting, right-click on the START button, and choose properties. Go to the Taskbar Tab and deselect the Group Similar Taskbar Buttons checkbox, press Apply the OK, and you are done!
