Pay Per Post Website

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

I have decided to share my experience with the website payperpost.com. I will continue to update you on the experience as time goes on. I know that many of you are also interested in the idea of posting for profit. Maybe even be able to make a living. So here goes:

8/10 - I signed up for a pay-per-post acccount on Friday.

8/11 - They sent me an email to confirm my email. I also submitted this blog to their payperpost marketplace section on this day.

8/13 - My blog was rejected. Reason: I’m sorry, as per our terms of service, we do not accept blogs with a non-writing period of 30+ days in the past 90 days. Funny, I don’t see this problem evident here. So I resubmit and fill out a support ticket.

8/14 - I tried to change my password to one of my own choosing, and was unable to due to missing fields… I think their form is a copy of their sign-up, but they forgot to modify their validation program.

8/14 - My blog is rejected again! Because your blog is truncating posts on the main pages, much of the posts are cut off Now this is untrue, although I have written several posts that have been 2-parters. A 2-part blog is fairly common. I use them to create interest and to allow people to read a larger post in smaller chunks, over a larger time period. I filled out a support ticket, again, then resubmitted.

I will keep you informed, but I will have to make it lengthy, original, and I better not make it a 2-parter of this entry, or they will just reject me again for that! Something tells me they will continue to find problems anyway. lol.
