I am often asked about business insurance, but I thought I would also take the opportunity to talk about personal insurance options. Some of the many different types of personal insurance are: car insurance, home insurance, life insurance, health insurance, travel insurance, pet insurance, and payment protection.
There are formula’s to figure out how much Life insurance, there are mandatory minimums for you to think about when you compare car insurance, and there are limits to protection of travel insurance, and they should all be taken in to account. So which should you have? How much coverage do you need? Should I buy the cheap home insurance? Well, there is no right answer to these questions, but let me give you the best answer I can: You should buy the best coverage you can afford. I know this is about as helpful as buy low and sell high for stocks, but it is the truth.
Today is the release of the long-awaited video game Halo 3. The Halo franchise has spawned an amazing array of other products included books, comics, and action-figures.
The media itself has had to begin to take notice of the overwhelming response to a new video game or video game platform release. I found 3 TV channels that had countdown shows for the release of Halo 3. No longer do the game-geeks have to feel like second-class citizens, for the drive the market.
Long live the geeks.
Oh, and long live Master Chief.
There was a huge controversy when Coach Ryan of the United States Women’s World Cup Soccer team decided to take Hope Solo out of goal, and put in Brianna Scurry instead. Brianna Scurry had not played for quite some time, and Hope Solo had been a star and personality for the United States Team. The decision that Ryan made was because of the way that Brianna Scurry played against Brazil the last time they faced them. Although Hope Solo was surprised and a little shocked by the decision, she still supported the decision, unlike a lot of us. I am seriously questioning the decision after the Brazilian women beat the United States women’s team badly on Thursday.
So, for all of us that think it is easy to make that decision, in comes a game called “The Goalkeeper” by mac games. Here, you ARE the goalkeeper. You make the decisions that affect your own career. You can decide what attributes you want your goalkeeper to have, you can negotiate your contract, or decide to leave the team, or even go to the training area to increase your skills for the next match. The matches themselves offer several ways to play: You can use the mouse to play in arcade mode, Strategy save where you make your best guess before the shot, or Instant save that will rely on your learned skills to make a decision. “The Goalkeeper” is free to try and you can buy right at the site to give you all of the options in the game.
You know those tickers at the bottom of all our favorite T.V. channels these days? Well, I love to hate them. I cannot give either the show or the tickers my full attention. Just when I see something interesting in the ticker, I have already missed something on the show.
Even worse than missing the content, I have usually missed the first part of the ticker, so all I know for sure is what happened, not usually who it happened to. Therefore I am forced to re-watch the entire ticker again to figure out who the info is about, inevitably separated by at least one commercial break. And what happens then? First, I don’t care, and second, I have missed more content on the show. Anyone else feel my pain?
