I am often asked if there are ways to erase the tracks of the sites visited on your computer. The answer is two-fold: Yes, you can, but it is easier to use a program to do it for you.
My suggestion is to use Ad-Aware free version for this. this does two things: It offers protection against Malware and Spyware, as well as use the Track Sweep feature to erase your internet browsing history.
Once again I can not over-emphasize the importance of using some kind of Anti-Spyware program at all times on your PC, so the added feature of Ad-Aware is nice. Download it here.
Finally we’ve got the go-ahead from PayPerPost.com for our blog. It took a little while for us to meet their requirements. It appears they really care about the quality of the product that they provide for their customers and the quality of the blogs that represent the advertisers.
First, I will give you my initial impressions of them and later, tell you what I learned that maybe I would have liked to have known earlier.
You are allowed to take advantage of 2 offers each day, but they must not run concurrent. In other words, you must have your own post, called a natural post, in between all PPP posts. On my first day, I found two offers that appealed to me. One was for an online backup solution that I had found some serious interest in. the second was for the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, which I already sponsored someone in. Each post was of interest to me, so it wasn’t like work at all.
The blogger dashboard showed me some of the big money advertisers as well as the ones I currently qualified for. This was somewhat of a disappointment as our Google PageRank and Alexa rank had not yet been downloaded, so I was left with advertisers who placed no limitations as to who took the post. Later, when our details are downloaded, I perceive more lucrative offers.
The instructions for each post are written up by the advertiser and, for the most part, are clear and concise. I did run in to a little trouble with the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, as they had posted approximately 4 links and then a link for a picture graphic as well. My only concern was to make sure they all made it in.
Upon completion, I posted the appropriate links. Now I wait. The article or post needs to be approved.
Now here is something that I was not aware of, not that it matters in the greater scheme of things, but each post has a life cycle. In other words, some advertisers may require the post to stay for 30 days, others 90. I now understand that you might not get paid until the full run of the post. Makes sense to me, but I was not aware of this going in.
I am seriously excited to be able to use PayPerPost on a regular basis to help subsidize my growing gadget-buying problem.
Look for more posts on the way about technology, how it affects me, and my thoughts!

Too funny, now here is something right up my alley:
McDonald’s now has movie kiosks from RedBox.
By a burger and a milkshake, and rent a dvd movie for a buck.
With movies like Blades of glory, 300, and Wild hogs, i see a bright future for this relationship. It is too easy to rent a movie through your digital cable, computer subscription to Netflix, or go to your local rental place, but this works for me. It seems to me that burgers at McDonald’s are often an impulse buy, and the availability of a movie at the same time makes too much sense.
