Alexa Ranking Missing Tip
There are many good tips on how to improve your Alexa ranking. I have found several of them useful, and I will list some of them at the end of this article. I won’t entertain the argument of chicken and egg, so just realize these are the ones I found easily.
Here is the one tip I have been trying that no one mentions in and of itself:
Change your homepage on your browser to http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.pc4people.com/tips_and_tricks.php. This way, each time you open your browser, you are hitting Alexa with a redirect.
To do this in IE, just click on Tools at the top of the screen, then Internet Options
Then change the Home Page text box to reflect your Alexa redirect.
Hope this helps someone. Leave a comment and tell me what you think!

I have no concrete evidence that it really works, but I believe that the more you can hit their servers the better off you will be. Let them know you are out there and you will soon see results. We have several sites that went from unranked to top 2 mil within a week, and top 400 thousand in the first month…
