Generating Income

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

It is always important for everything and everyone to pull their own weight in business. This Blog is no different. We have entertained many different options, some of which you have seen come and go.

The latest attempt is the text links that are offered on the right side of this post, in the Nav bar. I have to tell you, we are really giving them away for an extremely fair price. When you consider the PageRank, Alexa rating, and traffic (Thank you loyal readers) they should go for a lot more. If anyone is interested in having their name in lights, so to speak, visit the sales page.

Computer-based Training*

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

Many of our clients are looking to increase their productivity by providing additional computer training to their employees. The employees of the company have seemed receptive to this process because they see it as a way to move up and increase their value, as well as make their work easier.

We have been looking to provide our clients with some kind of online training for some time now. We need something that is either computer based training or on-line computer training. Clients are also very interested in something that is scalable and flexible. Also, they want a training tool that could be available to employees at all hours of the day, helping to fit it in to their busy schedules without neglecting their jobs or families.

Battle of the gadgets

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

OK, I am currently having a small battle of usefulness in my life. I have the LG EnV Phone and the FujiLabs MP3/Mpeg4 player. I used to use the FujiLabs for all of my MP3’s and I would even record or burn some movies or shows for a trip. but now I have the phone that already plays the MP3’s, and I don’t hardly ever use the Mpeg4 features. I wish that the EnV would have the ability to use the MicroSD card to store video instead of just MP3’s and pictures. I’ll let you know what I decide, but it looks like the phone will win for everyday, because it has so much going for it, and I don’t have to carry anything else. The FujiLabs will probably be relegated to trip-toy…

Trade Show Booths*

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

It is about that time of year again. The time of year when all of the software and hardware companies try to temp us to visit places like Las Vegas, palm Springs, And Ft. Lauderdale in order to sell us their products for next year.

I have spent countless hours of my life visiting trade show booths and talking to their sales people, in conferences listening to the sales pitches, or at special events designed to create some sort of kinship.

The one thing that keeps me going at these events is the displays and there setup. I love to see the newest designs that people bring and how it accentuates the look of their company image or the product image. I think too many companies forget this in their planning.
