United North America?

What? NAFTA strikes again with the idea of a United North American consisting of Canada, United States, and Mexico. The first step was the announcement by all three leaders of the countries of: “The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America” (SPP), with the goal of promoting economic equality and strength amongst the union.
There is even talk of a unified currency, much like the Euro, called the Amero. There are even some examples of a possible coinage, not bill, system seen above. Notice the UNA and Amero signage. Canadian financial experts love the idea, of course, because it would strengthen their economic situation. Proponents also say it will save the countries billions of dollars in currency exchange expenses.

I sometimes thought why even have borders if nobody obeys them? But I’m going to sound all conspiracy nut and say that it seems awfully odd and closer to the idea of one giant nation/police state. I don’t see how the US would gain anything from it, I think Mexico and Canada would though. And the EU is cool in essence, but wait when we’re older and NAFTA and the EU become one. And they only reason they want to cut down the money exchange thing is because they’re not getting a cut of the action.

I think thats nice. It will be much better if they make “United north America” as official, When this name will be a official name?
