Halo3

Today is the release of the long-awaited video game Halo 3. The Halo franchise has spawned an amazing array of other products included books, comics, and action-figures.

The media itself has had to begin to take notice of the overwhelming response to a new video game or video game platform release. I found 3 TV channels that had countdown shows for the release of Halo 3. No longer do the game-geeks have to feel like second-class citizens, for the drive the market.

Long live the geeks.

Oh, and long live Master Chief.

  1. Halo 3 is one of my favorite game.
A statistic from internet show that 1.2 million Halo 3 players have already killed 402 million baddies online.

  2. It’s actually quite funny when you see people craving over this game, and for other games in that regard.

So far I’ve seen freebies such as helmets and “limited edition” cases which fans are prepared to pay a lot more for.

@sake: Wow, 402 million baddies is amazing but if you consider 1.2 million actual physical users you actually have to sit back and see how big gaming is in our reality. If you think hard enough you’ll also realise that pcs are only upgraded because of games. I mean, we have the processing power to do use the internet, run instant messaging, email and heaps more. But it’s games that continue to make our technology advance so whilst I’m not a huge avid gamer I do have to thank games for the advancement of our technology!

  3. I am really lookin forward to purchase this game

  4. For me Halo3 was what Halo2 was supposed to be. I’m not exactly a fan of the Halo franchise because I was so angry at Microsoft buying them years ago, when it was originally slated for the PC only. Back then you were able to climb trees and snipe people from them and all sorts of cool innovations that never saw the light of day when it was developed for the Xbox. And how do people still say it has awesome graphics? Compared to the current PC games it doesn’t even compare, heck it doesn’t even compare to Gears of War.

  5. Everyone seems addicted to this game. Halo 3 is cool!

  6. I’m hoping now that Bungie is independent of Microsoft their might be a Halo for a mobile device like the PSP or even the DS. But pretty doubtful unless MS gets into mobile gaming.

  7. Halo 3 is fantastic.
I played the game on my friend’s Xbox360 and it was wonderful. The graphics and textures were great. And the blood looked like real.
I can’t wait to play the game on my pc.
I won’t sleep for a week until I have finished the game. :P

  8. Halo 3 have record sales on the game for over 170 million dollars. There is the most good graphics. The fantasy action of a first face at which the player fought Extraterrestrial invaders

  9. i love this game ! Speccialy the quality of textures and the animation, really good job !

  10. Halo is the best game ever released for Xbox360!! I’m going to grab this on real soon.

  11. I’ve been waiting for Halo3 for so long, though I don’t own Xbox I love playing a lot PC version on Halo.

  12. Xbox was never complete and never ever will be without this Halo thing. Its always been a spot of attraction among Xbox users. But, I seriously doubt if it’s PC version is any good.

  13. Halo3 is a nice game i have heard, Many peoples are addicted on it.
