The prices of gadgets will be tumbling down this Christmas. Should I get the Sony Ericsson K770? Or the Sony Cybershot DSC-H5 digital camera? Maybe I should go for the HP tx1000 convertible laptop?
The Sony Ericsson K770 phone would let me get crisp images with its 3.2 megapixel camera. It has many other features, including 3x digital zoom, LED photo light, picture blogging, a Bluetooth stereo, Java MIDP 2.0, and Access NetFront Web Browser.
But the Sony Cybershot DSC-H5 digital camera provides better picture quality! With its 7.2 megapixel capabilities, plus its SteadyShot features, I can take pictures of professional quality easily!
The HP tx1000 is tempting as well. It has 12-inch touchscreen monitor, plus the Super Multi 8x DVD/RW burner. It even comes with a mini remote control!
These products make choosing very hard! If I had the money, I would grab all of them for Christmas! Maybe this will give some people some Christmas ideas!?
I spent Yesterday in the hospital with my sister, She called up and asked if I could take her down because she thought she was having a problem with kidney stones again. It turns out that it was a little more complicated that that. Although she is doing fine today after last nights surgery, I can tell you it was a little scary there for awhile.
It seems that she had a type of cyst that was extremely rare. Here is where the technology part comes in: Before the on-call doctor was able to get a specialist in to check and diagnose this for sure, I was able to use the browser in my phone to look up all kinds of information on the cyst. That way, when the specialist did concur with the diagnoses, we were able to ask some intelligent questions. We were also able to get her the help she needed, as well as the peace of mind that she was being well taken care of. Without the ability to do this, things might have become overwhelming, as she was wheeled in to surgery with an hour of the diagnoses.
Thanks to the Doctors who made my sister better!
Today is the release of the long-awaited video game Halo 3. The Halo franchise has spawned an amazing array of other products included books, comics, and action-figures.
The media itself has had to begin to take notice of the overwhelming response to a new video game or video game platform release. I found 3 TV channels that had countdown shows for the release of Halo 3. No longer do the game-geeks have to feel like second-class citizens, for the drive the market.
Long live the geeks.
Oh, and long live Master Chief.
You know those tickers at the bottom of all our favorite T.V. channels these days? Well, I love to hate them. I cannot give either the show or the tickers my full attention. Just when I see something interesting in the ticker, I have already missed something on the show.
Even worse than missing the content, I have usually missed the first part of the ticker, so all I know for sure is what happened, not usually who it happened to. Therefore I am forced to re-watch the entire ticker again to figure out who the info is about, inevitably separated by at least one commercial break. And what happens then? First, I don’t care, and second, I have missed more content on the show. Anyone else feel my pain?
